Vale - Bob Lind 

Bob Lind, the Patron and one of the founders of the Wakehurst Redbacks Cricket Club, Life Member of both the Wakehurst Redbacks and the Manly-Warringah Junior Cricket Association, passed away on Monday 26th January. 

Bob's contribution to cricket at the Wakehurst Redbacks, the Junior Cricket Association and in the Manly area in general was enormous. Bob held the position of President at the Wakehurst Redbacks for 14 straight years from 87/88 to 00/01. He coached teams for many years, helped a large number of players achieve higher levels of cricket, assisted with getting the clubhouse built, founded the special achievement award, created the annual report and much more....  

On behalf of the Wakehurst Redbacks Cricket Club committee, we would like to extend our sympathies to Bob's family at this time.
